Day 14~Jo Blankenburg “Lament for Cherubin”

I am completely blown away by the emotion, purity and efforts put into this album that was made specifically for film trailers. It was recorded in the Czech Republic, Detroit and Los Angeles with live orchestra, choir, the works. For an advertising outlet so brief and temporary, so much thought and depth was put forth in this trailer score album. I’m actually honored that music as good as this is created specifically for my field of supervision. Solid score pieces like this inspire me to look past the advertising and marketing aspect of my job and more deeply into the storyline and emotion that needs to be conveyed in 2 minutes or less.
